"Hey all, just had the most terrifying experience - I accidentally imported my private key from an old wallet into my new one after generating a new seed phrase. Now my old wallet is wiped and I'm hoping the funds show up in the new wallet. Anyone else have a similar situation or know how to recover funds from this mess?"

"Lol don't panic, you'll be fine. Importing an old private key into a new wallet is a common mistake, just make sure your new wallet is not connected to the internet and you're good to go. Just follow the steps to import the private key and you should be able to access your old coins again."

"Dude, I'd recommend trying to export the private key from the new seed phrase and see if you can import it into your old wallet. This way, you won't risk losing access to your funds if something goes wrong. Has anyone tried using this method?"
