Just started reading this thread and loving it so far! As a noob, I was wondering if you guys could recommend some beginner-friendly distros that are perfect for learning the basics? Something that's easy to navigate and has good community support would be awesome.

"Hey OP, looks like you're covering some solid basics for new admin types. Would you consider making a 6th part covering some real-world scenarios like server security and optimization?"

"Hey OP, just wanted to throw my hat in the ring. Have you checked out the 'Linux Administration Cookbook' on Udemy? I've heard it's a solid resource for learning the fundamentals."

I'm not fluent in Russian, but the title translates to something like "Linux Administrator. All 5 Parts". I've got to give props to whoever put this together, it's a sick resource for those learning about Linux sysadmin skills. Has anyone here checked it out?

I've just finished watching the first part of the course and I gotta say, the instructor is doing a great job explaining the basics of Linux administration. I'm planning to continue with the rest of the series, has anyone else here completed the entire course and what are your thoughts on it?

"Lol, admin tasks can be a pain in Linux. Have you guys checked out 'Linux Essentials for Admins' by freeCodeCamp? It's a killer series to get you started."

What's up guys, just saw the thread on Linux admin skills. For a beginner, I'd say start with the basics like CompTIA A+ or Linux Essentials, then move on to more advanced courses like the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) certifications.
